Red Hot Stars Win Fourth in a Row Sceviour Scores Twice, Leads Texas Past Oklahoma City 4-1 CEDAR PARK, Texas – Colton Sceviour notched two goals and goalie Jack Campbell stopped 25 shots to lead the Texas Stars to a 4-1 win over the Oklahoma City Barons Wednesday night in front of 4,488 fans at Cedar Park Center. Texas won its fourth straight game and is now 4-0-1-0 in its last five games. The Stars struck first when Colton Sceviour’s fore-checking created a turnover in the Barons’ zone and Sceviour sniped a wrist shot into the top right corner of the net. Four-game unbeaten streak ends in 4-1 loss at Texas Colton Sceviour scored two goals, his fourth and fifth in his last two games, as the Texas Stars squared the season series at 1-1 in defeating the Oklahoma City Barons 4-1 on Wednesday at Cedar Park Center outside Austin, Texas. The Barons (3-4-0-1) had an four-game unbeaten streak (in regulation) snapped after three wins and a shootout defeat in their previous action. Texas has won four straight and improves to 5-1-1-0. OUELLET TO GRAND RAPIDS GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday assigned defenseman Xavier Ouellet to the Grand Rapids Griffins. Ouellet, 20, made his NHL debut with Detroit last night during the team’s 1-0 shootout loss to the San Jose Sharks, when he became the 134th Griffins alumnus to play in the NHL. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound defenseman had 23 shifts and a total time on ice of 17:15 with Detroit and has also posted two points (0-2—2) in five games with Grand Rapids this season.
