BOB HOWARD’S PROFILE
Bob Howard brings to the Power Play Post Show over three years of Internet talk radio. Starting in 2000, Bob produced and hosted “The Extreme Wrestling Audio Show” and “HurricanRadio” until 2003 when he decided to move on to hockey sports talk radio with the creation of the Power Play Post Show & Binghamton Hockey.net. In the beginning, Bob directed the show to focus on the Binghamton Senators before moving on to covering the entire American Hockey League near the end of season # 1.
Now moving into the 10th season of the Power Play Post Show, Bob produces, hosts, while conducting interviews with players, broadcasters and media members from around the American Hockey League.
Through out the years of hosting the Power Play Post Show, Bob has had the privilege to expand his broadcasting abilities from a TV Color Analyst on the Fox 40 News in Binghamton during the 2011 Calder Cup Championship to Bob’s latest passion, working hockey broadcasts as a Color Commentator. Bob has had the extreme pleasure to work with two iconic voices in the American Hockey League; Ken Cail, the voice of the Manchester Monarchs & Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the Binghamton Senators.
Bob started watching hockey in the early 1980’s when his older brother, Karl, was watching the Edmonton Oilers and was going to Binghamton Whalers games at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Bob became a fan of the New York Rangers quickly and a fan of any Binghamton team playing at the Arena.
