Former Bruins enforcer, Bobby Robins talks candidly about his career, concussions, battling suicidal thoughts and surviving the last nine months.

BAK STUDIOS – This week on the Power Play Post Show, Hosts Megan Reiff and Bob Howard bring an inspirational story to the fans of the American Hockey League. The two Hosts begin the show with a quick news and note from around the league concerning Randy Cunneyworth being named the new Head Coach of the Rochester Americans and that the St. John’s Ice Caps debuted their new Montreal Canadiens inspired jersey for the 2015-16 season.

However this week’s edition of the PPPShow revolved around former Providence Bruins enforcer, Bobby Robins. The now retired forward who spent the majority of if his 9-plus career in the American Hockey League made the decision to retire from the game after playing only 5 combined games in the Bruins organization in the 2014-15 due to concussions suffered and battling Post Concussion Syndrome symptoms as well as having suicidal thoughts just 5 months ago. Hear Bobby’s story, his candidness and his thoughts on a struggle that many enforcers go through during their careers.
