AHL Second Round SeriesBAK STUDIOS – On this week’s Quest for Calder edition of the Power Play Post Show, Hosts Bob Howard and Megan Reiff get the American Hockey League fans all caught up on 1st round playoff action and then set the stage for round 2 which starts on Wednesday with 3 of the 4 2nd round series. The two hosts also discuss the latest news and notes from around the league including the announcement by the Winnipeg Jets of the return of the Manitoba Moose to the AHL starting next season.

Jim also touched on the importance of this playoff run for the Barons players and their hardcore fans with the team moving west once this season is completed.
  • Ken Cail – Radio Broadcaster – Manchester Monarchs – On Twitter: @kenmonarchs – Good friend to the PPPShow, Ken came on this week’s show to talk about the Manchester Monarchs 1st round 3-2 series win over the Portland Pirates, whether or not the Pirates or Monarchs play in the 1st round was a surprise and what the team needs to do better in the 2nd round when they face the always defensively tough Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
