AHL PACIFIC DIVISION TALK
This week on the Power Play Post Show, Hosts Bob Howard and Megan Reiff make the return to the internet airwaves to discuss all the latest happenings in the world of the American Hockey League. The biggest news of the last ten days was the announcement by the AHL of a five team Pacific Division which will include the cities of Stockton, Bakersfield, Ontario, San Jose and San Diego. Hosts Bob and Megan provide their thoughts on this move and the potential shortened schedule in which those 5 NHL owned AHL franchises would like to have happen to reduce travel for their prospects. The two hosts also discuss the latest news from the league including the Hershey Bears historic milestone, the January award winners and an NHL superstar comes down to the AHL.

Tasha also talked about the importance of the names these teams hold and the presence in the community that the names bring and what the San Diego and San Jose names could be for next season.

Diana also discussed the good play of the AHL Flames and what it will take for the team to continue the good play up to the AHL Calder Cup playoffs.

Chris also broke down the play of the Pirates over the last few weeks even without a few key players who are up playing with the Arizona Coyotes.
