MORE SILLY SEASON NEWS
This week on “Silly Season” edition of the Power Play Post Show, Hosts Bob Howard and Megan Reiff try to make sense of the recent and credible news articles pertaining to the Western Movement that is apparently being planned for next season in the American Hockey League. Two articles were posted on Wednesday that talked about seriously planning for the potential Pacific Division in which both Bob and Megan give their thoughts on. One of the articles: Sources: Admirals being sold, will leave Norfolk basically talks about the Norfolk Admirals being sold to the Anaheim Ducks to be moved to San Diego while the Edmonton Oilers would move it’s ECHL team from Bakersfield, California to Norfolk and has quotes from the Admirals owner, Ken Young.
Bob and Megan then breakdown news from the upcoming AHL All-Star Classic as the rosters were announced this week by the AHL for the Eastern and Western Conferences, as well as the coaching staffs that will work with Mike Stothers and Travis Green.

Pete also discussed with Bob how the team has been playing this season with the edition of Danny Heatley, the 6 man rotation of goaltenders and the individual play of Nicolas Kerdiles and 2014-15 All-Star Chris Wagner.
Jeff Mannix – Portland Pirates – Radio Broadcaster – On Twitter: @JeffMannix – Jeff joined the show this week to talk about the Portland Pirates streaky play this season that has been more streaky on the good side, putting them in 2nd place in the Atlantic Division. Jeff also talked in this segment about the play of veteran goal-tender Mike McKenna, the outstanding play of All-Star Alexandre Bolduc and talks about why the Pirates will still be around next season regardless of who the team is affiliated with.
