OKC BARONS TO CEASE OPERATIONS
This week on the Power Play Post Show before the Christmas holiday, Hosts Bob Howard and Megan Reiff bring one of the most news filled shows to the fans of the American Hockey League. With the news just breaking hours before the show was recorded, Bob and Megan provide details into the Oklahoma City Barons announcement to cease operations after the 2014-15 season. However the plan for the Edmonton Oilers to not continue their affiliation agreement with the Barons may have been sparked by the Oilers plan to play in California even as soon as next season. Hosts Bob and Megan also react to Darren Dreger‘s tweet from earlier today:
AHL sources won’t divulge details, however, a west division comprised of LA, Ana, SJ, Cal and Edm is expected to launch for 2015.
