DAVID LEGGIO RULE CHANGE
This week on the Power Play Post Show, Hosts Bob Howard and Megan Reiff bring a jam packed show to the fans of the American Hockey League. The two hosts talk about the award winners from October including Binghamton Senators defenseman, Chris Wideman who won the Player of the Week for last week and Player of the Month for October as he powered a struggling BSens team with 6 goals and 5 assists. The two hosts talk about the news and notes from around the league including moving into the press-release bag to let you know what some of the teams are doing for charity.
The “David Leggio Rule Change” has been the hot topic in the American Hockey League through out the last five days and Bob and Megan address this on the show with their thoughts on the incident, the penalty, the reaction by media, fans and the AHL’s response with a rule change just a few days after the Soundtigers/Falcons game last Sunday. Was David Leggio “Bush League”? Should the AHL just award goals in this case? Was the rule change the right change? Hosts Bob and Megan look at this and more during their segment.
