This week’s Power Play Post Show starts with Host Bob Howard talking about Hurricane Sandy‘s destruction up and down the east coast of the United States. Bob also talked about Movember and why it’s so important to support this cause and Bob takes a look at the American Hockey League standings heading into this weekends action.
Joining Bob first this week on the show coming from the Rochester Americans is right wing, Mark Mancari. Mark talked about being back with the Amerks; playing with the Chicago Wolves last season; the players playing in the American Hockey League due to the NHL lockout and the great start to the Amerks season.
Our second guest this week comes to us from the Milwaukee Admirals, Taylor Beck. Taylor talks about his time with the OHL’s Guelph Storm; playing with the Milwaukee Admirals last season; the affects of the NHL players playing down in the league this season and the Mil-Ads start this season.
If you want to learn more about the goalie position in professional hockey then our next guest on this week’s show is for you, The Goalie Guild‘s Justin Goldman. Justin came on our show to talk about his website; it’s purpose for teams, fans and media members and talked about a whole sort of goalies that Host Bob threw his way. (I strongly recommend if haven’t all ready to go to The Goalie Guild website now)
To continue our coverage of the Adirondack Phantoms this season, Host Bob brought on The Saratogian‘s beat-writer Michael Cignoli. Michael talked about what might be affecting what should be one of the more talented teams in the AHL; what Coach Murray may need to do to get this team winning and what players need to be the driving force to get more wins this season.
All this and much more on the latest edition of the Power Play Post Show.
